Is there any certain things I should eat before I do my cardiovascular exercises? Should I run at a higher speed or lower? Anything special I can do to increase fat burning?

I workout at least 3x a week, 3 days weight training and three to five days cardio. When I do cardio I aim to burn 500 to 1000 calories each time, which usually takes 45minutes to 1 and 1/2 hour. My weight loss has started to plateau (for about 2 months)and I change up my resisitance and pace all the time but I always have my heart rate in the cardio zone. I thought that the whole idea of fat loss was to epend more calories than you take in but that doesn’t seem to be working for me right now. Does burning fewer calories and staying the fatloss heart rate zone really better than burning more calories? Any advice?
My body fat is slowly decreasing and I know that matters more than weight but I know I should be losing more fat.

I’m 15 and trying to lose fat, and clueless to how much calories I should be taking in on, days I do intense cardio (HIIT) and strength workouts. I was thinking 1500-2000, but was told that was too low.
Hey all. Im Male 23, 5ft11, bf% is 11.5, weigh 182-185. My rmr is 1850 cal/day. I am currently doing 500 calories worth of cardio every day (running or biking over 45 min in morning before meals). I lift weights twice per week (bench is up to 200 lbs). Im making sure that I eat my rmr every day (around 4-6 meals) so my metabolism doesnt get too sluggish i hope. I figure since I work out everyday and am relatively active I should be negative at least 700 cal/day (500 through cardio and 200+ through dieting). I drink plenty of water and about a 2 liter of diet pepsi/day (helps the sweet tooth). Does this all sound correct to lose only bf and maintain/gain muscle so I can get my bf down to 6-8%? Any tips to speed or target fat loss or am i doing everything correctly?

I’ve heard that significantly exceeding your target heart rate during aerobic activities can have a detrimental effect (possibly stripping you of muscle and or retaining more fat)
I am currently weight training four times per week (one day on one day off ie, mon,wed,fri,sun) in the afternoon/eve and doing 30 minutes of cardio at my target heart rate for my age and weight five to six mornings a week in addition to following a six meal a day “glycemic index” type diet in an effort to gain/retain muscle while losing fat and generally increase my cardiovascular health.
Any personal experiences?
